(60 min.) Math Implementation Update: Ms. Rooney and the math department coordinators will share a
Reveal math implementation update including GMS and CHS pathways.

(15 min.) District Goal Update: Superintendent Folan will report on the following Priority #2 goals:
■ Establish a standing SEL committee to identify a systemic SEL approach and a consistent curriculum.
■ Maintain a standing Handbook Review Committee to assess yearly practice and policy alignment.

(20 min.) Superintendent Professional Improvement Goals Update: Superintendent Folan will provide an
update on the following professional improvement goals:

Update on the timeline, plan and mid-year retrospective and discuss steps taken to increase Math
MCAS scores.

During the 2022-23 School Year, Canton Public Schools will increase the percentage of students
scoring in the MCAS Math Meeting or Exceeding achievement range by 5 percent. (202254.5% vs. 2019 65%)

Share how action steps are embedded in the District Goal for data analysis of student performance.

Conduct quarterly checks of the K-12 Math curriculum implementation process and report on learning and impact on students, staff and families.

Support Principals in using the data to drive collaborative discussions, differentiate instruction and supports, and target designated standards for growth
