4. (5 min.) Student Member Report Ms. Madeline Pushard will present the student member report.

5. (10 min.) Interim Superintendent’s Report Mr. Folan will present District progress, highlights, and accolades.

6. (20 min.) Teaching and Learning Ms. Mullen will share information about Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS).

7. New Business

   1. (5 min.) Welcome New Member: Chair Merenda will announce the new School Committee member, Ms. Laura Arboleda.

   2. (25 min.) Advanced Placement Results and Analysis: Mr. Jeff Sperling and Mr. Josh Fogel will present the District’s Advanced Placement Results.

   3. (5 min.) COVID-19 Update on Vaccination Rates: Mr. Folan will provide an update on the COVID-19 vaccination rates in school buildings.

   4. (15 min.) District Goal Update: Mr. Folan will provide an update on the following District goals:

      1. By December 2021, assess the value and engagement of the current communication

         strategies, including the Superintendent’s Blog, the District and school-based websites,

         and social media strategies.

      2. By December 2021, create the Indicators of Excellence Dashboard and determine the

         strategy for sharing elements of Dashboard internally and externally

      3. By December 2021, design and implement professional development opportunities

         related to educational equity, belonging and implicit bias, and launch school-based

         Equity/DEI teams.

      4. Throughout the 2021-22 school year, design and implement action steps that will support

         students impacted emotionally and academically by the COVID-19 Pandemic, address

         barriers to student growth and achievement, and create conditions for high-level learning

   5. (10 min.) Q1 Financial Report, Donations and Grants (VOTE): Mr. Marshall will present the Q1 financial report, Q1 donations, and request a vote of acceptance for grants received in Q1.

The School Committee may adopt the entire Consent Agenda with one motion. At the request of any committee member, any item(s) may be removed from the Consent Agenda and placed on the Regular Agenda for discussion. Note: per Robert’s Rules of Order: A member’s absence from the meeting for which minutes are being approved does not prevent the member from participating in their correction or approval.
