ExecutiveSession:Forthepurposeofdiscussingstrategyinpreparationfornegotiationswithnonunionpersonnel, Director of Student Services, and to discuss strategy with respect to collective bargaining, Unit A and Unit E, as an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the bargaining position of the public body.

(20 min.) Teaching and Learning Report Ms. Rooney will share an update on the Social Studies Program Review.

(20 min.) Canton High School Graduation Requirements (VOTE): Principal Sperling will present an overview of his recommendations for CHS graduation requirements.

(30 min.) Staff and Community Survey Data: Mr. Fogel and Ms. Shannon will share the Fall Stakeholder Survey Results.

(10 min.) Articles for Annual Town Meeting (VOTE): Mr. Marshall will propose articles for Annual Town Meeting.

(5 min.) Appointment of Director of Student Services (VOTE): Superintendent Folan will recommend the candidate for the position of the Director of Student Services.

(15 min.) October 1 Enrollment and Data Review: Mr. Marshall will review enrollment data.

(20 min.) Superintendent Professional Improvement Goals Update: During the 2022-23 School Year, the
Canton Public Schools will conduct an analysis of its organizational structure, specifically around Human Resources, and develop a plan for restructuring and improvement. Superintendent Folan will report on the following updates:

Conduct interviews with designated staff and administration around organizational needs and possible structures and systems to provide stronger support for students and staff, operationalize best practices, and fulfill strategic planning.

Create a preliminary set of organizational plans in parallel with the budgeting process -- To identify possible funding needs or budget neutral moves.

Develop a list of Human Resource activities that can be completed in the short term and establish long-term goals.
