4. (5 min.) Student Member Report Mr. Suraj Ramanathan will present the student member report.

5. (10 min.) Interim Superintendent’s Report Mr. Folan will present District progress, highlights, and accolades.

6. (20 min.) Teaching and Learning PreK-12 Visual Arts Coordinator, Patricia Palmer, will spotlight the Visual Arts Department.

7. New Business

   1. (5 min.) COVID-19 Update on Vaccination Rates: Mr. Folan will provide an update on the COVID-19 vaccination rates in school buildings.

   2. (15 min.) CPS Enrollment and Data Review: Mr. Marshall will provide an update on enrollment, demographics, and class size.

   3. (15 min.) District Goal Update: Mr. Folan will provide an update on the following District goals:

      1. By December 2021, design a plan for programming that will support extensions,

         enrichments and accelerated learning opportunities that are accessible to all students at

         the different grade levels.

      2. Suggestion (launch this survey and remind): By December 2021, assess the value and

         engagement of the current communication strategies, including the Superintendent’s Blog, the District and school-based websites, and social media strategies for implementation in January 2021

   4. (10 min.) District Calendar Task Force: Vice Chair Gallagher will discuss the upcoming process of examining and building the CPS District calendar.

9. (15 min.) Director of Finance and Operations Report Mr. Marshall will report on the Operating Budget timeline, Canton Community Preservation Commisssion (CCPC) submissions, and the timeline for the May Annual Town Meeting articles.

10. (5 min.) Consent Agenda The consent agenda is designed to expedite the handling of routine and miscellaneous business of the District. The School Committee may adopt the entire Consent Agenda with one motion. At the request of any committee member, any item(s) may be removed from the Consent Agenda and placed on the Regular Agenda for discussion. Note: per Robert’s Rules of Order: A member’s absence from the meeting for which minutes are being approved does not prevent the member from participating in their correction or approval.
