Executive Session: To discuss strategy with respect to collective bargaining, Unit A and Unit E, as an open meeting may
have a detrimental effect on the bargaining position of the public body.

(15 min.) Superintendent's Report Superintendent Folan will present District progress, highlights, and accolades.

(20 min.) Teaching and Learning Report PreK Spotlight -- Ms. Kilday and CAPT member(s) will share highlights on the PreK program.

(15 min.) Negotiations Update: Superintendent Folan and Chair Merenda will provide an update on the Canton Teachers Association (CTA) negotiations.

(60 min.) FY24 Budget Roll Out: Mr. Marshall will present the 1st read of the FY24 Budget.

(15 min.) 2023-2024 District and School Committee Calendar: Superintendent Folan will present the 1st read
of the District and the School Committee meeting calendar for the 2023-2024 school year.

(5 min.) Director of Student Services Contract (VOTE): Superintendent Folan will present the employment
contract for the Director of Student Services.

(15 min.) District Goal Update: Superintendent Folan and Mr. Fogel will report on Priority #1 and Priority #3,

Identify data sources to serve our district and school-wide conversations.

Share meeting structures to support data literacy development (ie. Department and grade-level
meetings, ALT, ILT).

Discuss data coaching for secondary department chairs to increase data literacy (how to interpret,
analyze and utilize selected data sources) to enhance instructional practices to increase student achievement.
