(15 min.) Superintendent’s Report Superintendent Folan will present District progress, highlights, and accolades. Senator Timilty will present citations to Kiara Cerruti and Fay Gallery on surpassing the 1,000th point milestone as members of the girls basketball team.

(15 min.) Teaching and Learning Ms. Heidi Olson will share highlights of the World Language Department including new frameworks and the MA State Seal of Biliteracy.

Public Hearing On School Choice SY 2022-2023: There will be a Public Hearing on School Choice
for the year 2022-2023 according to Chapter 76, Section 12b, of the Massachusetts General Laws.
All interested persons shall be given the opportunity to be heard. Vote required.

FY23 Budget Public Hearing: There will be a public hearing on the topic of the School Committee
FY23 budget, consistent with the provisions of Chapter 71, Section 38N of the Massachusetts General Laws. All interested persons shall be given an opportunity to be heard. Vote required.

(10 min.) World Language Out-of-Country Travel Approvals (VOTE): Ms. Heidi Olson will request a vote of
approval for the 2022-2023 out-of-country trips.

(5 min.) JFK CAPT Spotlight: The JFK CAPT will present highlights of their work during the past school year,
thank individual members, and discuss current and anticipated openings for volunteer posts.

(10 min.) JFK School Spotlight and JFK CAPT Spotlight/Honors: JFK Administration will share school
highlights and honor the work of the school support groups.

(5 min.) DECA Update and Preliminary Out of State Travel Request (VOTE): Mr. Sperling will share a DECA
update and request approval for members to attend a competition out of state.

(5 min.) CHS Scholarship Approval (VOTE): Mr. Sperling will present the Alan B. Dewey Scholarship for
review and a possible vote of approval.
