Call to Order
Executive Session For the purpose of discussing strategy with respect to collective bargaining with the Canton Educators Association (CEA) as an Open Meeting may have a detrimental effect on the bargaining position of the public body.
(15 min.) Superintendent’s Report Superintendent Folan will present District progress, highlights, and accolades.

(30 min.) Literacy Discussion: Ms. Rooney, Ms. Abrams, Ms. Ashley and Dr. Morgan will share literacy updates.

(30 min.) Social Studies Review: Ms. Rooney, Ms. Abrams, Mr. Natale and Mr. Connor will share a Social Studies Curriculum review update.
New Business

(25 min.) Transportation Efficiency Report: CPS Transportation Consultant, Rich Labrie, will share the April 2023 CPS School Transportation Efficiency Report.

(60 min) PreK and Elementary End-of-Year School Improvement Plans (SIPs): Principals will share their end-of-year SIPs.

(15 min.) Cabot Fund (VOTE): Mr. Marshall will share the Cabot Fund recommendations and ask for a vote of approval.

(20 min.) Human Resource Restructuring Recommendations: Superintendent Folan will discuss the proposed Human Resources Restructuring implementation plan.

(5 min.) Solidarity Statement (1st Read): The School Committee will share a first read of a solidarity statement against racism and discrimination in all its forms.

(15 min.) District Goal Update: Superintendent Folan will provide an update on Priority #3, Goal #2 pertaining to creating a shared vision for high-quality curriculum planning, instruction
and assessment across the District. A published version of the vision is to be shared.
