Retirement of Dr. Robert D’Agostino - After more than 25-years of service in the role of Board of Health physician, Doctor Robert L D’Agostino has informed the Health Department that he will be retiring on August 19, 2022. Dr. D’Agostino has been a tremendous asset to the Board of Health. We thank him for his service and wish him all the best in retirement.
Appointment of Dr. Daniel Muse – Doctor Daniel A. Muse is currently the Medical Director for the Canton Police Department, the District Physician for Canton Public Schools, School Physician for Blue Hills Regional Technical School and provides consulting services to the Canton Fire Department. Pending Board of Health Approval and Select Board approval the Health Department requests authorization to appoint Dr. Daniel Muse the Board of Health Physician
Vote to Appoint and Pay:
Dr. Daniel Muse as the new Board of Health Physician, for a period of no more than 3 years. Dr. Daniel Muse is to receive a stipend of $3,000 per year.
Vote to Re-hire Per Diem Staff:
In anticipation of possible increase in vaccination clinics and/or contact tracing this fall; rehire Jared Blakely, Julianne Goodrich, Maeve Moore and Deborah Tyler as temporary per-diem staff to assist as needed.
